The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The influential game designer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
